Who are we?
Alwood Care services is a support service based in Bath and North East Somerset for adults in the home and community.
We specialise in providing support services for adults with diverse needs including individuals with a learning disability.
People are referred to us either via adult social care services or they can contact us directly, using their personal budgets, direct payments or personal income.
Who do we support
We support adults with day to day tasks and activities so that they can continue living independently.
Our staff can provide support with a range of daily living tasks and activities including:
- Shopping trips
- Preparing healthy meals
- Attending college or courses
- Attending social activities
- Supporting interests and hobbies
- Attending medical appointments
- Taking of medication
- Money management
- Accessing employment or voluntary work
- Accessing benefits advice
- General companionship
We recognise that people's needs can change. Therefore we offer a bespoke, flexible adaptable service
